Educate.
The methods I use are evidence based, interactive and ultimately aim to cultivate new attitudes towards learning. My objective is to equip young learners with the means of not only getting the grades they need. I also aim at teaching them crucial learning tools and techniques that they can apply further on in school, university and life.
Engage.
“If you are interested in something, you will focus on it, and if you focus attention on anything, it is likely that you will become interested in it. Many of the things we find interesting are not so by nature, but because we took the trouble of paying attention to them.”
― Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (Flow, 1990)
By encouraging focus and attention, I believe that studying can be changed from a boring, monotonous task into something young learners can enjoy.
Enjoy.
By changing the task of studying for exams into a fun challenge, students will be more engaged during and between lessons reducing the anxiety associated with the undertaking and ultimately saving time and improving performance.
